When looking to refine the next generation of Wilde gravel racer, we felt that the existing offerings in the carbon gravel fork category were a bit stiffer and heavier than we wished. Light weight and suppleness are keys to the Earth Ship's magic, so we decided to take the leap and design our own fork from the ground up.
Meet the new Waypoint. At 478g with an uncut steerer, it's among the lightest fully featured forks on the market and was designed with rider comfort and durability in mind. The fork legs were specifically engineered to soak up bumps and isolate the rider from road chatter, allowing you to go longer and in greater comfort, without sacrificing strength or durability.
It has all the features you need for exploration, gravel, and light bike packing applications: three pack mounts, internal dynamo routing, internal brake cable routing, fender mounts, and massive tire clearance.
The Waypoint was designed for bikes with an EC34/44 or straight 44mm headtube that take a tapered steerer. If you need a fork for a standard straight 1 1/8" steerer or EC34 headtube, the original Wayfinder is the one you want.
Will work wonderfully to add features and lightness to an existing cross or gravel bike such as the All-City Cosmic Stallion, Surly Midnight Special, etc.
If you are a framebuilder we also offer a really terrific OEM pricing option and would love to work with you. Just shoot us an email.
